Plump, sweet dates and fragrant, toasted walnuts are a match made in heaven, brought together in these grown-up browned butter and sourdough cookies. A light crunch on the outside and soft and chewy in the centre. Give yourself some quality me-time with this little treat.
You can enjoy these cookies as a pack of 6 or as part of a mixed bag. Baked fresh to order and in your hand in time for afternoon coffee.
Ingredients (allergens in bold): wheat flour, browned butter, sourdough levain* (wheat and rye flour), sugar, walnuts, dates, egg yolk, baking powder, baking soda, sea salt.
Whilst every care is taken in the handling of my ingredients, my cookies are baked in an open kitchen and may contain traces of sesame.
*sourdough levain is a mixture of stoneground, organic wheat and rye flours, housing a symbiotic relationship between wild yeast and tummy-friendly bacteria , read more about it here.
